Oil Industry’s thirst for the high ultimate hydrocarbon recovery from the reservoir can only be met with a good development plan of the hydrocarbon bearing formation. A list of sequential tasks is required to interpret the reservoir to produce it for its maximum contribution. Data acquisition for its interpretation should always be as certain as possible and the number of uncertainties must be decreased in order to have good planning strategy for a reservoir. Thus data acquisition and their accuracy are major regularizing factors which influence the development plan. Utilizing the new technologies, to interpret the data from logs, well test and production, to calculate OOIP and to predict the performance of reservoir, along with multi disciplinary team is essential in planning a good strategy.
